Hotel construction lending involves complex, multi-document analysis that eats analyst time and slows deal velocity.
Every hotel loan requires pulling data from multiple documents -- P&Ls, STR reports, appraisals, construction budgets, borrower financials. A significant portion of analyst time goes to data extraction and spreadsheet entry rather than actual credit judgment.
Hotel financials come in every format -- different operators, different chart of accounts, different reporting periods. Without a standardized analysis framework, each deal gets a slightly different treatment, making portfolio-level comparison difficult.
After the analysis is done, someone still needs to write the credit memo -- synthesizing all findings into a structured narrative for review. It is one of the harder steps to delegate because it requires understanding the full deal picture.
In a competitive lending market, turnaround time is a differentiator. The faster your team can move from loan package to credit decision, the more deals you can evaluate and close.

Once data is extracted, the system runs a complete credit analysis automatically -- calculating every ratio, running stress scenarios, and generating a risk score with evidence. What takes an analyst 8+ hours is done in minutes.
The system computes all standard hotel lending ratios from the extracted data: DSCR (trailing, stabilized, and stressed), LTV, LTC, debt yield, cash-on-cash return, breakeven occupancy, and operating expense ratio. All calculations are transparent and auditable.
